Authors Connecting Workshop is a program designed to emphasize the importance of literacy and how culture can influence education, as well as one’s worldview. Authors engage in workshops allowing participants to ask questions and attend a reading with the author. The program is targeted to interact with children. Tropicalfete, Inc. hosted a spectacular event called TF Pop-Up Caribbean Carnival in Times Square. This magnificent event took place on Sunday, August 28th, 2022. The famous Vibesman Redman Crew and Tanisha Burke were the event’s hosts. The performing arts included steelpan, stilt dancers (Moko Jumbies), masquerade dancers, dance, theater, and music.
