Iration Ites – The Itesperience is back

Come Feburary 2014 promoter Darren Hamilton is bringing back the conscious event Iration Ites – The Itesperience which is set to be held at the Redbones Blues Cafe, 1 Argyle Road, Kingston 10.

This prime event is a fusion of cultural vibes, international acts and positive conscious performers, trail blazing bands carrying the message from Jamaica to the world, all on one stage in a festival atmosphere.

Commenting on the event Hamilton said “It is very important that musicians and performers have a space to exercise their craft and where music lovers can get a chance to see music in its truest and purest form. It’s absolutely fantastic that there are already people and places where this platform for our local music to shine and grow is provided, but live music needs more, and the people want more.”
Hamilton who is true believer in the purest form of music said this series will give roots music lovers the chance to come out and enjoy a big festival feel in an intimate setting.

The Uprising Roots coming fresh from their performance at Live To Vinyl on the Beaches of Cable Hut is already hailed as one of the best when it comes on to conscious roots music.

Iration Ites – The Itesperience was started in October 2010 and featured international acts such as Winston McAnuff, Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith and Inna Di Yaad All Stars, Admiral Tibet, Prophecy, Fred Locks to name a few on the beaches of Wickie Wackie Bull Bay.
This year’s event which takes place on February 7 and will feature The Uprising Roots, Lee Tafari and Earth Warrior. Showtime 9:30pm and promises to be a night of thrilling energetic roots rocking reggae vibrations.
