Newly Crowned Chutney Soca King To Impress At Hilton On Carnival Saturday
Trinidad. February 2012——The reigning Chutney Soca Monarch will perform live at the Hilton poolside this coming Saturday- Carnival Saturday, in Trinidad and Tobago. K.I’s big win at the Chutney Soca Monarch competition last weekend makes attending the Hilton poolside soiree a must for those who truly bask in the all round enjoyment of Carnival. In 2011, the Hilton Hotel saw a tremendous show of support for this event, which catered to every possible yearning that carnival fetters may have had. From the most delicious cuisine, to the best in live entertainment, and not to mention an ambience that left many if not all in awe, the 2011 edition of the poolside Carnival event left a lasting impression on all who attended. This year, the fete is back and promises to be even more enjoyable that last year with acts like Kes The Band, Karma with Ravi B, Big Daddy and The Dynasty, Kerwin Du Bois and The Boss Neil Iwer George, slated to perform.
The Hilton Poolside fete comes just one night after the Soca Monarch 2012 Groovy and Power competitions and fans of Iwer George, Kees Dieffenthaller, K.I, and Kerwin Du Bois will have the opportunity to get up close and personal in a more intimate setting with their Soca stars. The event kicks off at 9pm on Saturday and tickets which are reasonably priced t $250, have been made available for purchase at a number of locations- among them, Sound Research in Gulf City, Elegance, Grand Bazaar, Richard’s West Mall, The Valpark Chinese Restaurant and of course the Trinidad Hilton.
