Promoters of Appleton May Daze produce Remix of the year

Jamaica’s premiere Pre-Summer party series – Appleton May Daze returns this May for its fifth staging and the promotional team from Good Company are promising to package the high energy and vibe of the past four years into an entertainment bundle which will see the patrons witnessing ‘Five years in Five nights of Fun, Frolic and Fantasy’ under the theme ‘the remix’.

Appleton May Daze – the remix will see five events, voted as crowd favourites over the past four stagings being bundled together to secure the quality entertainment package that the promoters execute and try to outdo each year. 2012 will be no different as old themes return with the same great, infectious vibe, this time at a new venue – The Sagicor Parking Lot, New Kingston.

The fantasy journey is set to begin with a trip to 2008 with ‘Forbidden Fantasy – Masks & Beads’; this event is literally where Appleton May Daze began, this marked the first event of the series with the concept of delivering a Mardi Gras vibe. Female patrons were encouraged to do what they saw fit to get beads from the males; with their identities hidden behind masks there is no bounds to how far they’ll go. ‘Short Temper – Short Shorts & Skirts’; this theme celebrates the eye candy experience of seeing beautiful women adorned in short shorts and skirts, it will serve to drive a enticingly flirtatous vibe throughout the night.

May 18th sees the return of the 90’s event – ‘Brukout in Black’; some of the best selectors with an astounding drive for the beloved 90’s have already been confirmed for this event and have promised the best pre-summer 90’s experience for 2012. The promoters of Appleton May Daze have always tried to maintain a standard of quality, creative and fun events, one such event of the series was ‘Mayhem – The Krazy Dress Fete’ which premiered in 2009; patrons will be encouraged to dress fashionably crazy, this will be motivated by the prizes that the patrons with the craziest outfits are poised to walk away with courtesy of the promoters and sponsors.

The event series comes to an end with an event which will be a prelude to the plans for the 2013 staging of the series; appropriately named ‘20*13 – Back to the Future’.

This year we’ll be a lot more active on our social media outlets , our aim is to connect directly with our patrons using our facebook fanpage (May Daze) and twitter account (@AppletonMaydaze). These mediums will be used for giveaways and also to provide information about the event series; commented Managing Director Dwayne Harris. He went on further to say that twitter will be kept a buzz with May Daze using the hashtag #AppletonMaydaze.
Appleton Jamaica Rum has partnered with the May Daze team to deliver yet another unforgettable event series reaffirming that there is no party without Appleton and the summer party scene doesn’t get off to the right start without Appleton May Daze.
