Nigel Lopez Gives Praise at Carnival with "Camp Connection”

Trinidad and Tobago-based Gospel singer Nigel Lopez delivers praise and worship to carnival season with his new Gospel soca song “Camp Connection,” now available worldwide from all major digital retailers, from FOX FUSE. Creating music as a performer and producer under his imprint Sincerity Studios, Lopez has been waving the Gospel soca flag for years and the world is taking notice.

Lopez wrote and produced the up-tempo, groovy soca track, which highlights the celebration of Christians during Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival season. According to Lopez, a caravan sponsored by the top Gospel radio station visits church camps throughout the country and sing praises with the campers, as one of the Christian ways of having fun during carnival season.

The festive Trinidad Carnival celebrations take place annually in the twin island nation and coincide with the Christian calendar, culminating on Ash Wednesday. It is usually a time for partying but Lopez also sees it as the perfect time to give praise. “We are letting people know that living in Christ is an opportunity to celebrate our Lord and Savior, and enjoy the fellowship with our Christian brothers and sisters,” states Lopez.
