Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Marvin found his voice at an early age in church. Gifted with a soulful voice he began his professional career in 2002. Influenced by veterans of Reggae and R&B, Marvin names his influences as Stevie Wonder, Beres Hammond, Donell Jones, and Carl Thomas. “I was inspired by Bob Marley and Garnett Silk.”- Marvin Binns.
Marvin Binns (not to be confused with Marlon Binns) has had the pleasure and privilege to perform for his fans in Trinidad, Barbados, Guyana, and Cayman Islands and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Reggae and Dancehall. From his collaboration with Bounty Killer on “Love Girls” to teaming up with legendaries producers Sly and Robbie, Marvin has proved that he can stand on his own.
