City Rock Ent's Artists cheers Jamaican Orphanage, SOS Children's Villages
Texas based record label City Rock Entertainment’s artists will be delivering holiday cheers to the children of the Jamaican orphanage at the SOS Children’s Villages Jamaica.
SOS Children’s Villages is an independent, non-governmental international development organization which has been working to meet the needs and protect the interests and rights of children since 1949. The children have many basic needs that City Rock Entertainment hope to help alleviate, and also bring musical cheers with the help of City Rock Ent reggae and dancehall artists Delus, Tabeta CShae and Humility.
“I’ve always taken the Luke 12:48 scripture “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required” to heart” explained City Rock Entertainment CEO Marlon Baugh. “We often take having a family for granted, I can only imagine how it feels for those children during the holidays. I am thankful for all my blessings and how can I have so much without given back. I’m not even talking about toys, I am talking about basic needs such as toiletries, bedding. My team and I just want to make a difference, see a smile.”
You can give children a second chance in life
If you choose to sponsor a child with SOS Children’s Villages, you will be directly supporting an orphaned or abandoned child. For SOS Children, the word “sponsor” means money is for “supporting” or “helping to pay for” a child in need. 100% of child sponsorship donations with SOS Children go into a pot from which the child and their new family are clothed, fed, educated and loved. The sponsor gets information about the child, can write and visit and see what difference their money makes.
