'ONE MIC' Featured International Reggae Artiste Anthony B

On Thursday, February 7, Brooklyn, New York was graced with another memorable performance from International Reggae artiste Anthony B.

Accompanied by only a keyboard and a guitar Anthony B mesmerized the One Mic audience with a performance like no other in his career. He had the audience attention as he walked on stage in a deep burgundy suit with his locks regally wrapped.

“Its been about seven years since I’ve seen Anthony B perform in NY and the One Mic atmosphere and ambiance was just perfect. It was so intimate and personal he gave a stellar performance” says Sarah Washington.

Opening his set with “Storm Winds” it was evident that Anthony B had a message for the One Mic audience. When asked, what was the message he wanted his fans to leave with after his performance, Anthony B said ” I want the people to know, no matter how rough the road of life is, no matter how hard the fight is, keep the faith, believe in Jah and love yourself, you will get through it” .

One Mic, the Artistic Movement (New York) focused on providing a platform for artiste to showcase their talent and connect with their fans continues to achieve that goal.

“After this One Mic performance I respect Anthony B so much more” says Michael D’Antonio.

Anthony B received a standing ovation as he completed his encore performance of “Raid the Barn”. After his performance Anthony B said “I give Jah thanks for the opportunity and to Destine Media ,the One Mic family and all my fans; thanks”. Anthony B gears up to continue the Freedom Fighter Tour as he gets ready to head to Europe.
