Perfect Pussy are one of the boldest and most intriguing projects to surface in recent years, garnering widespread critical acclaim following a self-released four song cassette-only EP, titled I have lost all desire for feeling. Veiled beneath layers of exquisitely abrasive noise, frontwoman Meredith Graves’ lyrics are disarming, brutally honest and poetic, possessing a feverish intensity that can only be matched by her electric stage presence. The band’s debut full length and first release on Captured Tracks, Say Yes to Love, is a frenetic and fast-paced juggernaut, capturing a pivotal young band just as it’s ready to explode.

PUJOL, the charismatic Nashville rockers led by idiosyncratic “philosopher king” Daniel Pujol, put on a raucous, high-energy live show, driven by their distinctly Southern rock n’ roll sound, heard on 2012’s UNITED STATES OF BEING. The forthcoming album, KLUDGE, is coming out May 20th on Saddle Creek. With a magnetic stage presence and highly intellectual lyrical focus, PUJOL never fails to deliver an immensely fun, electric live show.

YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN centers around Alaska B and Ruby Kato Attwood, two art school students with a mutual love of opposing forces—heavy metal’s brutish assault with Japanese manga’s cartoonish appeal, Boredom’s experimentalism with Chinese opera, lofty schemes and low budget endeavors. This unique combination creates a sound that is unforgettably original.
