Fantasy Mas Band Ready To Dominate Carnival 2013
After a successful 2012 debut, Trinidad and Tobago Carnival band Fantasy is ready to make 2013 a landmark year of growth and development.
In an age and industry where arts and entertainment outlets come a dime a dozen and the shelf life of most creative entities can be as little as one year, Fantasy has positioned itself to be the new ‘it band’ in the eyes of several Carnival addicts and Soca Junkies.
Although considered by some to be the ‘new band on the block’, Fantasy is comprised of many notable names, faces and brands in the local and Caribbean entertainment sector. Its members and stakeholders have been involved with and have contributed to over 16 years of invaluable service to Trinbago’s culture and entertainment circuit.
Thus far the Fantasy team members have harnessed their collective skill sets into bringing forth a top-class, premium Carnival product i.e. Fantasy the mas band.
Fantasy started off Carnival 2013 with major impact in the form of its Savage Saturday cooler fete which not only was one of the first grand events of the 2013 season but it also attracted audiences from all over T&T who came out in their numbers to experience the first performance of Machel Montano who delivered all of his C2K13 hits.
As Fantasy prepares for its second Carnival Monday and Tuesday presentation entitled “Savage” mas fans anticipate this year as the year that the band rises to the top of the Carnival mas ranks.
Already boasting numerous sell out events, a thriving J’ouvert band and considered amongst the top 3 sought after bands in T&T Carnival, it is quite evident that Fantasy is geared to do nothing less than dominate.
