Join us for an unforgettable evening of live musical performances as Tropicalfete, Inc. proudly presents “Akil Earthstrong Live with Friends” on June 26, 2024. The event will take place from 7 PM to 11 PM at Tropicalfete, Inc.’s Cultural Hub, located at 850 New York Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203-2721 (corner of Linden Blvd & New York Ave).

Live Music: Experience the vibrant sounds of Akil ‘Dmanhimself’ Ashby, also known as J.A.T (Jahkofalltrades), who will be showcasing his musical talents as a percussionist and drummer for J.A.T RIDDIM SEXTION.
About Akil ‘Dmanhimself’ Ashby:
Akil Ashby is a man of many talents. Known professionally as J.A.T (Jahkofalltrades), Akil is a skilled barber, accomplished percussionist, and successful entrepreneur. As the lead barber at Styles and Cuts, Akil’s passion for cutting hair is matched only by his love for making music. He is the dynamic drummer behind J.A.T RIDDIM SEXTION, bringing rhythm and energy to every performance.
In addition to his barbering and musical pursuits, Akil is the founder of J.A.T Juices, a business that reflects his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to healthy living. His commitment to the community is further demonstrated through his role as a Teaching Artist at Tropicalfete, Inc., where he inspires and educates others with his multifaceted talents.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Akil cherishes time with his family and is known for his infectious sense of humor. With a heart of gold and a mind brimming with creativity, Akil truly embodies the spirit of a jack-of-all-trades and a master of many.
