Ang Prince Pin Empowers Savlamar To "Represent" And Launches Video And Stage Show Next Sunday, March 31, 2013 !!
Alliance Next Generation artist Prince Pin showed in no uncertain term that he is definitely the “Prince” of Savanna La Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica.
The staging was the artist video shoot for his song titled “Sav Anthem – Represent Weh Yuh Come From”, on Sunday, February 2nd in the parish of his birth, Westmoreland, Jamaica. The video shoot was an immense one as people from different communities in Savlamar came out to represent in droves. What started out with an entourage of approximately 5 cars soon grew into well over 30 motor cars, bikes, bicycles and pedestrians.
The shoot was well represented both locally and internationally as on hand were, the “Tun Up Twins” (Models/TV Hosts), Dj Avalon, Video Vixens “Denise and Erica” all from New York and members of the artist’s ANG and Grunglevel camp. As with the song, the video attempts to bring the communities of Savlamar together in unity and to pay homeage to their respective communities. Therefore, it would be only fitting that the locations of the shoot were communities directly in Savlamar, Westmoreland.
Communities such as 110 park, Russia, Shalin, Gully Bank, TBumps, Bush and many more were showcased and gave their support to the artist tremendously, with the culmination of the day seeing hundreds of people gathering at the 110 Park HQ for a fitting end. The video which was directed by JDash, will be released next sunday, March 31, 2013 at the 110 Park HQ and will feature a full and compact day and night afffair which will see a funday and treat for the children throughout the day. On show will be arguably one of Jamaica’s top magician”Wizard The Magician” and a host of other treat for the kids. At night Dj Avalon from New York, Dj Chigga and a host of disc jocs will be providing the musical entertainment before the performance of Bounty Killer’s Alliance Next Generation (ANG) camp members.
The artist is also planning a series of school initiative where he is expected to distribute school bags and books to a few schools in the parish in an effort to emphasize on the importance of staying in school and getting a good education.
