Tropicalfete and Chase Present “Back to School & Mas at Chase” Financial Education Workshops for Brooklyn Families
BROOKLYN, NY — August 2026 — Tropicalfete, Inc., in collaboration with Chase, will present “Back to School & Mas at Chase,” a family-focused workshop designed to equip parents and children with practical financial knowledge while incorporating elements of Caribbean arts and culture.
The workshop will provide an engaging environment in which parents and children can learn together. Participants will explore valuable money-management lessons, including how to develop responsible financial habits, make informed financial decisions and learn from everyday experiences. By encouraging families to discuss money openly, the sessions aim to help children build a strong foundation for financial responsibility from an early age.
The initiative will also incorporate Tropicalfete’s creative approach to cultural education through the art of masquerade, commonly known as “mas.” This combination of financial education and Caribbean cultural expression will offer families an interactive and memorable back-to-school experience.
Two workshops will be held in Brooklyn. The first session will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Chase Bank, 1599 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11210. The second session will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 257 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11213.
The workshops are intended for parents and children to attend together. Advance registration is required.
