Inner Circle Releases World Tour Dates . Performances with Ali Campbell & Ziggy Marley . Reggae Jam Official Post-Recap

On Friday, February 24, hundreds of South Florida reggae fans attended the Adrienne Arsht Center’s REGGAE JAM, a one-night-only 2011-2012 World Music Series concert featuring performances by legendary, award-winning reggae bands THIRD WORLD and INNER CIRCLE. Both bands lit up the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall with explosive live stage performances featuring THIRD WORLD’s classic anthems “96 Degrees in the Shade,” “Now That We’ve Found Love,” and “Cool Meditation”; and INNER CIRCLE’s global smash hits “Bad Boys” and “Sweat (A La La La La Long).” In addition to enjoying some of the world’s most renowned reggae tunes, the audience was treated to an extra special evening as everyone cheered and celebrated the 50th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence in 2012 and Black History Month.

Rising local reggae bands Jahfe, Mixed Culture, The Resolvers, Spred The Dub, Stampede, Roots Shakedown, 4th Dimension and Skafyah – collectively known as the “Reggae Wave” – opened the show. Lance-O of Kulcha Shok Muzik hosted the evening and kept audiences on their feet with his enthusiasm and high-energy.
