CHICAGO February 2015-Chicago residents and visitors will mark July 4th Independence weekend with a celebration never before seen, when Tessanne Chin, season 5 winner of NBC TV “The Voice” graces the stage, at the 23rd annual International Festival of Life (IFOL, along with some fifty other world music acts. Additionally, the return by popular demand, of the “Carnival of Nations” a cultural celebration with representatives from more than 50 countries, including Africa and the Americas will share in the festivity

The 23rd International Festival of Life (IFOL) takes place in Union Park, located at 1501 West Randolph Street in Chicago’s West Loop. As it did last year, the historic park will take on a street party atmosphere in a spirited showcase of music, games, arts & crafts, food and lifestyles of people of Africa, the Caribbean and the rest of the Americas.
