MARCIA Griffiths and Judy Mowatt, members of Bob Marley’s harmony group the I-Three, were honoured with the Reggae Ambassador’s Award in New York City last Tuesday. The awards were presented at the Jamaica Consulate by VP Records and Groovin’ Inc, co-promoters of the annual Groovin’ In The Park concert. Griffiths and Mowatt were recognised for their “supreme artistry, outstanding achievement and contribution to the development and promotion of reggae worldwide”.
