Discover Dominica Authority, in collaboration with the Forestry Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, today announced that a number of Dominica’s hiking trails are open. Seven segments of the Waitukubuli National Trail, the Caribbean’s longest walking trail, are ready to welcome the adventurous hiker. Some trails were closed after the passage of Tropical Storm Erika which caused obstructions and infrastructural damage.
