Reggae & Dancehall Group "Don Dem" Releases Video For "Need Your Love" & More

Toronto, Canada – To say that 2013 has been a whirlwind for Reggae and Dancehall group Don Dem would be an understatement. The multi talented group of the 5 members group of Durri “The Scientist” Brown, Kez Ferguson, Kirk “Diamond” Douglas, Chaunard “Bob da Builda” Brown and Olaf “HD” released their debut video “Blind To Them” to rave reviews and garnered over 40 thousand views, had the honor of being being featured on MTV.com, released a mixtape, debuted their web reality series “Life Of A Don”, released their hit single “Need Your Love” on itunes via 21st Hapilos Digital and ended the year with a media tour in Jamaica.

The video shot on location in Toronto Canada by Dre Barrett and Mookie Wade. “Need Your Love” draws inspiration from their personal lives, it shows the struggle of balancing both career and love life while trying to make it in the music industry. On one hand it depicts Kirk’s girlfriend who is ready to call it quits as she feels that all his focus and energy goes into his music, while other group member Bob’s relationship flourishes.

“This song means a lot to Don Dem because it is a true story for each member. music takes a lot of time and if you love it it seems as if its a competition between it and your relationship. a lot of sacrifices. so we try bring that to light with our delivery on the riddim and on screen” – stated Don Dem’s group member Kirk Diamond.
