Apartment 19 Music takes fans to Gyalla Park for 10th Anniversary Celebration!
Apartment 19 music is set to release a unique project poised to dominate the holiday season. The ten year old imprint, responsible for a number of hit singles from dancehall duo RDX, has created its first ever Juggling riddim project; inspired by, and designed for the ladies and the men who love them.
The Gyalla Park riddim, features an all-star lineup of artistes who rule the proverbial ‘Gyal Segment’; Spice, RDX, Razor B, QQ, Liquid, Mr. Vegas, Kalado, Macka Diamond and Raytid.
The decision to produce this concept as a juggling project was ultimately an easy one for the producers and label executives.
“Its been many moons since there has been an all ‘girls song’ juggling in Dancehall. And since Apt. 19 Music is known for producing quality girls songs, its only fitting that our first juggling be all about the females.” Label executive Carlton Williams explained
The record label that originally began operating out of an actual residential apartment, has grown tremendously over the years. The label has created hit material for Dancehall ‘Girl Bosses’ RDX including; Broad Out, Daggering, Everybody Dance, Dancers Boom, Skip, Head Top and Bum. The Apartment 19 production team has also worked with other labels producing songs with Vybz Kartel, Beenieman, Bounty Killer, Lady Saw, Capleton and more.
The Gyalla Park Riddim will be taking on the streets later this week, mirrored by what DJ Liquid says in his song on the project “From Downtown to country to Gyalla Park”.
“A few artistes have already shot their music videos for their singles on the ‘Gyalla Park’ riddim and a few more videos are in the works, so its full speed ahead from now on.” Label Executive Andre Bedward added.
The complete Gyalla Park Riddim is scheduled to be released on all digital platforms by January 2016 and is distributed by Hapilos Digital Distribution.
