The Island Essence Riddim aims to take you on a journey of Euphoria and endless emotions. The Rhythms and different elements infused in the track, touches the shores of many Caribbean islands. It expresses the fullness of Soca and the beauty of melody all intertwined in a Rich Vibrant Sound.
The Island Essence Riddim was produced from a combined effort between Richarde (Alive Productions) & 4TuneProductions to create this Soca Banger! Created with authentic rhythmic guitar strums and Bass lines from virtuoso guitarist Mr. Jeremy McIntosh the riddim was brought to Life with the sole purpose of making the listener dance and move! The track was Mixed and Mastered at B.E.X Audio by Mr Darrell Bereaux who made sure that the calaloo of creativity was able to simmer at the right acoustic levels.
When creating this project Richardè set out to impact his community by producing music and working with talented folk residing in the area of his upbringing, Cocoyea San Fernando.
“Wukking Up” which is the inspiration behind the entire riddim was created around the sweet melodies of Soca Artiste Kevon Bass Aka Infamous KB. The track was written By Infamous KB & Jelani Russell. The goal was to achieve a product that transcends the traditional sound to Soca Music while still keeping the foundation of the rhythms which have been passed down for generations.
‘Wukking Up’ describes the experience of the artiste meeting a young woman and accompanying here to a Carnival Fete. At first he was doubtful that she would be able to handle it but soon realises that he is the one that needs to keep up.
The track expresses the shock at the way she ‘Wukking Up’ as the young woman steals the show.

The Track entitled Goddess is the contribution from the producer of the Riddim Mr. Richardè Bereaux. The track was written by Richarde & Red Balloon Productions and set out to capture the total dominance and importance of the woman within the carnival setting. Richardè describes the woman as a Goddess within her state of Euphoria and regardless of her conduct it doesn’t decrease but increases her worth.
Richarde is a producer for Alive Productions and a graduate of the Berklee College of music. He is soon to release his debut EP Entitled Soul Calypso. Goddess is the second single off of this project which contains five tracks. All Soca based tracks and huge input from the artiste himself.
Richarde has performed with Grammy nominated artiste Brian McKnight, Aloe Blacc and Grammy winning artiste Bilal. Richarde has his eyes set on becoming one of the greats in music only this time, representing SOCA!
