This charming beauty first gained world attention when she was recruited to work as a model for the distinguished Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. That success followed her over the years as she added entrepreneur, and most recently reality TV star on E! Network’s wildly popular WAGS LA, to her resume.

For most of us that would be enough, however, we are not Sasha Gates.

Burning in her soul is the need to share her beloved Trinbagonian culture across the globe. Raised in Canada but surrounded by a strong Trinbagonian family, some of whom still live in south Trinidad, Sasha’s love for everything TnT is evident in all that she does.

Encouraged by the fully immersive encounter she shared with her fellow WAGS for Carnival 2017, the TV star decided to channel that reconnection with her roots into song.

Music being her first love made this initial step easy, and even better she worked with a team who all ensured that the end product would reflect her sensual, fun style.

“Sweet Gyal” is produced by The Masterz, Warrior Way Entertainment, and Precision Productions, while Sasha co-wrote the provocative number, with Erika Evans.

As this is her debut in Caribbean styled music, Sasha fully embraced the moment, encompassing elements of the regional percussion and heavy bass line with just enough pop music to appeal to her wide fan base.

The recently named cultural ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, says this is only the beginning. She fully intends to use her current extensive platform to showcase TnT’s diverse culture, and if this release is any indication of her planned path, the future looks harmonious indeed.
