About Brian Hurst:

Bryan Hurst is the third Generation musician in his family. He is from the beautiful Island of Grenada in the Caribbean. Bryan was taught by his dad who was a sergeant in the Military Band along with his other siblings at the tender age of ten years. On completion of his schooling, he naturally joined the Military Band as a Clarinet player.

His interest, love and enthusiasm for music grew and continued studying through correspondent courses with the Royal School of Music in London of which he attained his grade 8 both in Practical and Theory of music . His passion for the music led him to compose, arrange and record music for some of the local Artist performing at Grenada’s nationally held festivals and Carnival.

He further went on to pursue studies with Kneller Hall Music institution in London. He has performed extensively with Bands both locally, regionally throughout the Caribbean and internationally as far as London the United States and China. His Band open for Sanchez and Third World Reggae Band in Grenada during the 90’s. He played for Machel Montano, The Mighty Sparrow, David Rudder Arrow and Swallow to name a few.

Bryan Currently plays the Tenor Sax, Soprano Sax, Clarinet and Steel Drum, He also sings and has performed live at The Hilton in Hilton Head South Carolina in 2009 other Restaurants, Hotels and Catering halls with Back up tracks for over thirty years. His act is highly entertaining and fun filled, He’ll be delighted to perform at your Reception, Wedding or Party. His genre spans from Pop, Country, Blues, Jazz, Reggae and Calypso.
