Its from our intense desires that talents are born. This sentiment reflects and is held dearly by Dancehall Reggae artiste Danger Matic aka Flawless.
A Jamaican by birth now a resident of Canada, Alex Francis is a past student of Calabar High School which brags Industry greats such as Vybz Kartel, Skatta Burrell, Baby Cham amongst others and led to his reassurance that he too could pursue music.
Pursuing music for several years, his rose to fame was in 2009 when he released his first Mixtape titled ‘Overseas Mix Volume 1’ a production of Cash Moneys Scratchy B that he came to the full actualization & realization of the sentiment expressed earlier.
Since then his respect for the art and confidence has grown which led to performances is Canada with Blak Ryno and others at an event dubbed ‘Dutty Fridaze’.
His second mix tape ‘Check mi fresh’ by Mixed by Mixtape Yardy in January of 2012 has also gotten great reviews.
Danger Matic songs pays homage to those that inspire and have paved the way for him; with the lyrical versatility of Sizzla Kalonji, the growth and transition of Spragga Benz, and the consistency and perseverance of Vybz Kartel, this fresh young talent is a force to be reckoned with.
