The first Hapilos Teens event dubbed “ILLUMINA: The Soca Edition” took place this past Thursday, April 5 to Happy teens indeed. The concept black light party welcomed teens from all over the island with many prizes and giveaways, body paint and music from ZJ Chrome, Colin Hines and Chromatic.
The highlight of the event was a performance by international dancehall artist Popcaan (watch a clip of the performance below) who not only left the teens voiceless from screaming and singing along to all his tunes, but took time to take pictures and signed autographs to the delight of party goers.
“The premier staging of hapilos teens Illumina was a great success, from the music the selectors played to the performance and meet & greet by Popcaan. Stay tuned for more Hapilos Teens events our next event for the teens will be in the summer. Tifa is already booked for it. Thanks to everyone for the support” stated Johnny Wonder, Executive vice president for 21st Hapilos Distribution.
