As the July/August period heats up, Karma will be blazing trails in various high profile appearances around the globe.

Just recently, Karma moved a step closer in its quest to take the Chutney-Soca genre to mainstream audiences when they performed for visitors at North America’s beloved theme park, Six Flags Great Adventure, ,,in New Jersey. The band’s lead female vocalist, Nisha Bissambhar, who received rave reviews for her performance in the famed amusement park shared, “We feel very honoured to have performed at Six Flags. We are always excited to have the opportunity to break international barriers and represent T&T, Chutney-Soca and Caribbean music on the whole, especially in front of such diverse crowds”.

Nisha, who will soon unleash some mid-year music releases, applauds the success of her brother and band mate Ravi who is currently scorching the airwaves with the monster track “Doh Sticky” which is a collaboration with Soca star Swappi. The popular tune which was produced by hit maker Klase Gonzales of First Klase Productions has been gaining more and more rotation at top urban and East Indian radio stations as music fans have embraced the combination of Ravi’s Hindi-flavoured vocals alongside Swappi’s hard-hitting Ragga-Soca lyrics.
