My Destination – Zagga

Kingston (JA) – ‘My Destination’ is the chosen title for Zagga’s latest release on Chimney Records’ new compilation called ‘Rising Sun Riddim’. This song was released on October 11, 2013 on ZIP 103 FM and Irie FM.
‘My Destination’ is a reflection of the artiste’s‘easy going’ personality and is a fitting addition to his growing collection of positive music. Zagga says he sticks to positive music because “It feels right. I love making music people will feel rather than just hear”. He also states that the feedback he has been getting from the song is “as positive as the song” and that fans and disc jocks alike are gravitating to it.
When asked how he feels about the song, Chimney Records’ producer Jordan McClure says “Zagga is more of a lyrics and concept oriented writer. What I especially like about this song is that he found a way to fuse really nice melodies with a great concept and story line to make an amazing song all together.” He also comments that a significant amount of work has gone into the production and he is pleased with the end product and the response thus far.
The compilation also boasts several heavy hitters like I-Octane, Christopher Martin, Jah Cure, Tarrus Riley and new reggae sensation Chronixx. ‘Rising Sun Riddim’ will be available for purchase on October 29, 2013 but can be preordered now.
The ‘Remember The Days’ singer has plans for a few more releases by the end of 2013 including one a single with industry colleague and friend Alaine.
