The 10th Annual International Soca Awards in Hollywood, CA has been postponed
The SAO Soca Awards Ltd. regrettably announces that the 10th Annual International Soca Awards which was scheduled to be held in Hollywood, CA on Friday June 29th, 2012 at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City has been postponed. The new date will be announced in an upcoming press release and a press conference is scheduled for Thursday July 5th, 2012 at a venue to be announced giving reasons for the postponement and the new way forward.

SAO Soca Awards Ltd sincerely apologizes and regrets the major inconvenience this has presented to all involved. Rest assured that monies will be refunded to all ticket holders at a date to be announced later today. This latest development is yet another loss to the soca artists and extended members of the creative industries. We have lost one of the greatest opportunities to showcase our talents on the steps of the entertainment capital of the world- Hollywood, California. The efforts to maintain and highlight the culture of the Caribbean has taken a major hit.
