All systems go for Reggae Fever

Jamaica – “We are ready, everything is in place, just for patrons to come out and have the time of their lives.” Words from Donovan Carter, promoter of Reggae Fever which unfolds this Saturday at the Puerto Seco Beach in Discovery Bay, St Ann.

Reggae Fever now in its fifth year will be featuring performances from Bounty Killer, Fantan Mojah, I-Octane, John Holt, Capleton, Romain Virgo, Kip Rich, Zamunda, Lutan Fyah, Hero, D’Angel, I-Noah, Lady G, Chino, Laden, Hitman Walle, Cali P, Prophecy, among others.

The event will be an all-day celebration and according to Carter, it will be a family friendly format. The fun and excitement will kick off in the day with deejay competitions, fun contests, entertainment for the kids and lots of surprises.

“The idea is to come out and enjoy the beach, have some fun with the family and of course stay for the excitement later on in the evening said Carter.

The action will begin at about 4 pm with the winners from the dance-off competitions a few weeks ago.
Carter says he is anticipating a great turnout as he has been receiving some good vibes on the street.
“From the reactions I received during a motorcade from St Catherine through to St Ann, the momentum is high. People looking for a great show and I aim to deliver nothing less,” is the promise given by the promoter.
