New York, NY, September 2011: Drum Roll……..Leake Paula is the new Miss Caribbean United States. Miss Leake became the first person of Trinidad and Tobago heritage to win the coveted title of Miss Caribbean United States breaking the four year run of Latina winners at the pageant.
Born on an army base to an American military father and Trini mother, Miss Leake says traveling the world with her military family has given her a World of experience that she would not trade for anything. Paula plans to pursue a carrier in broadcasting, while working with organizations in the United States and third world countries to help the youth focused On higher education as a way of breaking the cycle of poverty, violence and teen pregnancy.
As Miss Caribbean United States Paula will represent the United States at a major international pageant next year, as well as doing appearances for charitable causes while promoting her platform of education against violence. Pageant director, Omari Oswald Peterson says he could not be happier with the judges pick ,Paula is all we look for in our queens and carries on the legacy of all our beautiful, talented, inelegant queens of the past.
Paula begins her busy and exciting year doing promotionaland public relation spots for Tropicalfete, which is the Caribbean’s # 1 source for news and entertainment. The public can expect to see the ruining Miss Caribbean US Paula Leake at all the Tropicalfete Events for this year and next. Newly crowned Miss Caribbean US Paula Leake to host Tropicalfete Countdown 2011 in Dec 2011.. Tropicalfete Countdown Top 100 International Caribbean Songs for the year is a ranking of recorded music according to popularity. The Popularity is determined by air play, music sales, club play and online hits. Tropicalfete’s chart is not limited to genre.
