1st Klase Records Presents Stag Riddim: Part 2

1st Klase Records presents its highly anticipated Stag Riddim: Part 2, available worldwide from all major digital retailers on February 11, 2014, from FOX FUSE. The futuristic, heavy bass, grime-meets-soca formula of Stag Riddim: Part 2, produced by Klase Gonzales and mixed by Neel “Fadda” Dwala, are signature sounds of 1st Klase Records, a progressive label that continues to craft and compose the future of soca music.
Stag Riddim: Part 2 is a brilliant follow-up to Stag Riddim, which was released on radio in 2013 for Trinidad’s Carnival season and is now available for sale for the first time worldwide, on the same release date as Stag Riddim: Part 2, also from FOX FUSE. A coveted collaboration between 1st Klase Records and Trinidad and Tobago’s Carib Brewery Limited, Stag Riddim is the namesake of the Stag Larger beer, which Carib describes as “the authentic, original, unique and defining icon of being young, modern and fashionable in Trinidad and Tobago.” They teamed up with eclectic Trinidadian producer Klase Gonzales, who is at the helm of 1st Klase Records, for his edgy, exhilarating and modern spin on the soca genre.

Stag Riddim: Part 2 features soca star Bunji Garlin on “Gi Dem Dey,” a grand follow-up to Garlin’s breakout international hit “Differentology,” which has recently seen the electrifying artist making the rounds on mainstream radio internationally, having recently completed a radio tour in the United States. The party continues with soca thrillers Lyrikal on “Party Nuh Done,” Olatunji on “Wha Yuh Drinkin?,” Jaiga featuring Shal Marshall on “Juice,” and power sensation Swappi on “Take Wine,” in addition to the instrumental version.

With blazing performances to back this ambitious album, Stag Riddim: Part 2 is bound to find a home on playlists everywhere as Carnival season commences in Trinidad and Tobago and in the soca community, globally.
